Delay at Huntingdon 22 May 2018

There has been a delay to the racing at Huntingdon on the evening of 22 May to wait for medical treatment for jockey Fergus Gregory who was injured during a fall from THE BLUE BOMBER (GB) in the 6.10 race.

It is understood the horse was fatally injured in the fall.

UPDATE racing resumed at around 7.27pm, when the course posted this message:

The injured jockey has been taken by road ambulance to hospital. All who follow racing will be hoping the jockey makes a full and swift recovery after a nasty looking incident.
