There’s plenty of racing this Saturday afternoon and evening, with flat turf meetings at Doncaster, Newbury and Leopardstown, and some good class National Hunt racing at Cheltenham and Kelso.
Saturday will finish with a card of eight all weather flat races in the Midlands at Wolverhampton under lights.

Our selections today are all available at great prices, as we use objective measures to make race predictions, based on the stopwatch. This is not always going to be 100% successful, particularly where novices are concerned, but it can point to over-priced runners, which is just where the above sit.
One good example is Arthington, which runs in a four runner event, the 2.35 at Cheltenham. This one put in a really nice performance to win a similar race at Plumpton in September, but failed to recreate that level under a double penalty last time out in a two runner affair at Worcester. Today at level weights, that Plumpton win signifies this one has put down the best performance of this field. A price of 25/1 seems, therefore, to be a little on the long side.
Top tip for Saturday is Holly Bush Henry in the 3.45, also at Cheltenham, for trainer Phil Middleton. Today’s 7lb claimer, jockey Fergus Gregory, makes this one the best weighted runner on Saturday. There’s a big difference between having the best chance and actually winning, though, but at 11/1, this one looks to be an excellent each-way opportunity for those who’ll be watching the racing this Saturday.
