Our top tip for Wednesday is DONTMINDDBOYS (IRE) (which we tipped up a couple of weeks ago at Plumpton (6th November) – only to be beaten into a disappointing 3rd of 6 despite going off 9/4 favourite). That run was below par, but the same reasoning which put this Robin Dickin trained gelding on top that day make him the bet of the day on Wednesday under today’s conditions.
Will be ridden by Jack Quinlan in the 3.20 at Warwick, which is a Chase Handicap over an extended 3m1f. The price is expected to be around 9/4 again, and we think this is an even better chance to get off the mark and notch a first ever victory despite carrying top weight.
The Next Best for Wednesday is FILLE DES CHAMPS (IRE) which goes in the 3,00 at Chepstow for trainer Evan Williams under jockey Mitchell Bastyan. This one is likely to start on the high side of 6/1, so on paper is a decent each-way opportunity.
