There is some flat racing on Wednesday too, with a card of seven all weather races taking place on Newcastle’s tapeta surface in an early evening fixture which kicks off at 3.40pm.
We’ve got selections for every race, below.
Newcastle Tips – Wednesday 15 November 2017
Course | Time | Our Tip | Race Type | Dist |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 3:40 PM | SAMTU (IRE) | Flat All Weather Handicap | 2m56y |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 4:15 PM | AMADEUS (IRE) | Flat All Weather | 7f14y |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 4:45 PM | LORD OF THE GLEN (GB) | Flat All Weather Handicap | 5f |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 5:15 PM | FRANCIS XAVIER (IRE) | Flat All Weather | 1m5y |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 5:45 PM | BROKEN WINGS (IRE) | Flat All Weather | 1m5y |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 6:15 PM | ROCK ON BEAUTY (IRE) | Flat All Weather Handicap | 7f14y |
NEWCASTLE(AW) | 6:45 PM | DREAM REVIVAL (GB) *NAP* | Flat All Weather Handicap | 7f14y |
You have to wait until the 6.45pm last race for what we think is our best opportunity at Newcastle. We select Dream Revival as our Newcastle Nap for trainer Paul Collins and jockey Stevie Donohoe.
This one has been runner up the last twice, including at this course behind our then selection Evies Wish, over 1 furlong shorter.
A repeat of that form will see this on make the frame at a price of around 10/1.
Not one to go wild about, as it is only our top tip owing to a lack of all weather form in today’s other races (we score runs over this surface slightly higher, and not all of today’s entries have put down any markers on the all weather); but looks on paper to be in form and good enough to lift a race of this nature.
