The Nicky Henderson trained WE HAVE A DREAM (FR) looked in supreme form to lift the 2018 Doom Bar Anniversary Hurdle at Aintree, just now.
Daryl Jacob did not have to work particularly hard, as the horse travelled comfortably leading from pillar to post, and quickening all the way to the line.
Our ratings had already shown this horse was the best of this bunch (it was in our Thursday tips for Aintree) but this performance was a great marker for high grade hurdling in the future, and really underscored why is was such a shame this one couldn’t be ready for Cheltenham Festival 2018.
Could be something very special indeed.
