Our top tip at Wetherby on Wednesday is NEVER UP (GER) which runs for trainer Sue Smith and jockey Danny Cook in the 2pm Chase Handicap over just under two miles.
This one looks like being second favourite to the short-priced Gino Trail from the Kerry Lee yard, at an overnight price of 2/1.
We actually oppose this favourite, today. Our selection put in a couple of really impressive performances the last twice, a repeat of either should spell victory here. The danger, in our view, is not the favourite, but rather Rebecca Menzies trained Pain Au Chocolat which ended last season with a nice win under similar conditions at Perth, and had a pipe opener 17 days ago, albeit showing very little.
