Top 4 Tips – Naps for Sunday

As ever, we’ve selected our top four best bets for Sunday. These are the horses which show ratings that suggest they could go well today. We have computerised every run from every horse, and we have applied weightings to every performance. We map that to today’s conditions and opposition to express which horses stand a good chance of success today. The top 4 percentage chances, we list below. These will show an each way profit over the longer term, history shows.

NAVAN2:10 PMTHE GAME CHANGER (IRE)National Hunt Chase2m
FFOS LAS3:05 PMPRIME VENTURE (IRE)National Hunt Hurdle Handicap2m7f191y
FFOS LAS4:10 PMFLANAGANS FIELD (IRE)National Hunt Hurdle Handicap1m7f182y
SANDOWN2:20 PMFRODON (FR)National Hunt Chase3m37y

We like Gordon Elliott’s charge, The Game Changer, for the grade 2 chase at Navan under Davy Russell, its joint favourite early on Sunday to win.

Prime Venture is a strong chance in the 3.05 at Ffos Las, and this will be a clear favourite, at evens (or odds on) for Evan Williams.

Also at Ffos Las, Flanagans Field at a price of around 4/1 for trainer Bernard Llewellyn under jockey Robert Williams, in the 4.10 last race looks to have a great opportunity at today’s weights. Needs to be sharp after over 200 days off course, though.

Finally, we like Frodon, which is 14/1 for impressive connections Paul Nicholls and Sam Twiston-Davies to lift the 2.20 at Sandown. We need this one to recapture better form shown last year, but has had a sharpener a month ago which is usually worth a few points of improvement.
