We’re sticking with Holly Bush Henry in the 1.30 at Aintree, after tipping this one last time out. We liked the form of this one’s wins, and can forgive a below par run at Cheltenham last time out. Odds of 9/1 for this Phil Middleton trained runner seem fair. Will be partnered by Fergus Gregory today.
Our next nap runs in the 3.35 at Wincanton, where we think that Tempestatefloresco’s price of 50/1 (rank outsider on the odds) are way overpriced, assuming that this Colin Tizzard trained gelding puts a poor effort at Cheltenham last time out behind him. Will be ridden by Sean Houlihan today.
We also like the look of Vengeur De Guye in the 2.35 handicap chase at Kelso. Odds of 9/2 mean this is a solid each way play for the choosy gambler who finds the right bookmaker. This Lucinda Russell trained gelding arrives in good heart, and has the form to lift this one under Derek Fox.
The final nap, but the one which will run first in the day, is Ordinary World, which goes in the 12.35 at Naas for Henry De Bromhead under Davy Russell.
