TAUNTON | 4:20 PM | Starlit Night NAP | National Hunt Hurdle Handicap | 2m7f198y |
Our top tip for Taunton goes in the last race, a nice big handicap hurdle run over just shy of 3 miles, where we select Starlit Night as the runner most likely to succeed under today’s conditions.
Stalit Night is trained by Chris Down and ridden today by James Davies. At an early price of around 12/1, this one represents good each way value, as long as the form of the penultimate start at Stratford can be replicated. Last time out at Newton Abbot, needs to be forgiven, though, so is not without some risks attached, after things had seemed to click for this one in the summer, with two seconds followed by a really nice win.
