Our ratings make this one a better chaser than hurdler, but we must forgive a string of poor efforts over the smaller obstacles this season. At a price of 100/1, take all the extra places you can get (for example, 20/1 to finish in the first 8 with bet365 – at 1/4 the odds a place, that is a 5/1 shot for beating 8 round, which represents an opportunity here). Four or five of this field are far from certain to be there at the finish, and a performance of this one’s best would see a very long price runner make the frame.
At the other end of the market, we think Josies Orders (IRE) is probably the best of them today, but the price (11/8) is prohibitive and not without risk.
