Our top tip for Monday at Southwell is the Richard Fahey trained Gabrial’s Star which will be ridden by Tony Hamilton in the 1.10 handicap over an extended 2 miles. This one is likely to go off favourite, at a skinny price short of 3/1, but has form on this surface to easily lift a race of this nature. Will be fit enough, and is looking to notch a win after a string of good but not quite good enough performances of late.
