Our Sedgefield Nap today is Oscar O’Scar which runs in the 2.35 for Middleham trainer Micky Hammond under Mr Joe Wright’s 7 lb claim. If this horse is raring to go after a break, has the ability to win a race of this nature, and has done it before at this track. Weighted lower than best winning mark – and with another 7 knocked off – and on ground which is to suit, is good enough if stripping fit for a return. Has been inconsistent in the past, so 9/1 seems a price on the good side of fair. Good enough, if on a going day.
