PUNCHESTOWN | 3:30 PM | BANG BANG ROSIE (IRE) | National Hunt Flat Race (Bumper) | 2m |
Our top tip for the Punchestown meeting is THE BAY BIRCH (IRE) which goes in the 2.55 Handicap Chase over an extended 2m6f for trainer Francis J Flood and jockey Mark Enright.
Under the bottom weight of 9-11, this one is just 11/1 for the race, making for a fine each-way opportunity.
We liked the form shown the time before last at Fairyhouse, under similar conditions. A repeat of that run, forgiven a slightly lower performance last time out, and a place is on the cards. Has what it takes to win this one, too.
