The NAP for today’s Lingfield meeting goes in the very first race, and is the Mark Johnton trained, Sheik Hamdan al Maktoum runner, Sulafaat under 2016 Champion Jockey, Jim Crowley. This selection has already been supported, with overnight odds as high as 3/1 nipped in through 11/4 in to 5/2 and 9/4 in a place. This horse won nicely last time out at Newcastle over today’s distance, and was well clear of the chasing pack, but for one rival, who also won next time out. Ratings show this one is a cut above, and connections are strong. Should defy an 8lb rise in the weights today.
