LINGFIELD(TF) 3:30 PM MOLLY CAREW (GB) National Hunt Hurdle Handicap 2m3f110y

Our top tip for Tuesday at Lingfield is SAINT JOHN HENRY (FR) which goes in the 3.00 penultimate race for trainer David Pipe under Tom Scudamore. This one is an overnight 11/1 in a dead eight, making for an excellent each-way opportunity.

As is often the case with the selections our ratings bring up, this one has talent to win a race of this nature, but is not without risk, having pulled up last time out, following a jumping mistake.

A better round of jumping in this race, which is far from guaranteed, and the chase debut winning form this horse showed at Chepstow would be enough to go very close.

This is an open race, but none have shown better chasing form than the selection’s win. Needs to jump better this time. If Tom Scudamore can coax a nice round out of this gelding, the price will seem overly generous.
