Course | Time | Race Type | Dist | Our Tip |
CARLISLE | 4:50 PM | National Hunt Chase Handicap | 1m7f207y | Beau Bay (FR) |
CARLISLE | 5:25 PM | National Hunt Flat Race (Bumper) | 2m1f | Mary Eleanor |

PUNCHESTOWN | 1:20 PM | Turf Flat | 1m6f | Nearly Famous |
Our top tip for Thursday is given as Beau Bay which is trained by Dr R D P Newland and will be ridden by Champ Richard Johnson, in the 4.50 at Carlisle. The overnight price was around 11/2 on this selection.
Next Best is also running at Carlisle, in the very next race, the 5.25, where we have selected Mary Eleanor, another Richard Johnson mount, this time for Tom Lacey. Early prices of around 3/1 are available for this selection.
Our final two selections for Thursday both run in Punchestown. We like the look of Carole Rose in the 4.45 race (Mr R James rides for Liam Casey, 11/1) and also Nearly Famous in the opening 1.20 event (Martin Lynch rides for Mrs J Harrington).
