The even money favourite, Nuts Well (GB) got the better of the Little Blue Pen selection, Derintoher Yank (IRE) in the 2.35 at Carlisle on Monday 13 November, winning by three quarters of a length under jockey Brian Hughes for trainer Ann Hamilton.

Derintoher Yank can be seen swishing the tail in the run in, when under pressure, but the winner was always in truth travelling the easier of the two.
