There’s a pair of turf National Hunt meetings looking like going ahead on Saturday, after several days of all-weather-only racing. Meetings will be happening at Sandown, Leopartdstown, Lingfield (AW), Chelmsford (AW) and Kempton (AW). Tips for all are below.

All weather is the order of the day again, as the cold spell continues in UK and Ireland. There’s AW racing at Dundalk, Lingfield, Newcastle and Wolverhampton on Friday 1st Feberuary 2019.
There’s only all weather racing on Wednesday 30th January, after National Hunt meetings at Leicester and Plumpton were abandoned. Flat racing will take place in the afternoon at Lingfield, and the early evening at Wolverhampton, under lights.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the Baltic weather conditions up and down the UK, the National Hunt meetings scheduled to take place on Wednesday 30th January 2019, at Leicester and Plumpton have both fallen victim to the weather. The National Hunt race meeting at Lingfield Park which had been due to take place on Tuesday 29 January 2019 has been abandoned owing to the wintry weather. Meetings at Down Royal (IRE), Newcastle and Wolverhampton currently have all passed any inspections and are expected to go ahead as planned.
