Kempton Park is a UK racecourse which offers racing over jumps and flat all weather (Polytrack).
Often referred to as just “Kempton” the track is on the boundary of Greater London making it a popular entertainment for people from the Capital. The venue is at Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, England
Kempton is perhaps most famous for the Grade 1 King George VI Chase which takes place in their incredibly high quality Boxing Day meeting.
The course will be closing in 2021, after the Jockey Club announced it will be sold for development, with the expected £500million raised to be put back into racing.

The Aintree Grand National 2018 meeting continues on Friday the 13th, and we’ve got another selection of tips for racing fans.
We’ve got Irish racing too, with an afternoon meeting at Naas and an early evening card at Ballinrobe.
There will also be an evening of all weather flat racing at Kempton Park, before which there will be an afternoon of National Hunt racing at Sedgefield.
Another two meetings fall victim to the cold weather on Wednesday, but an additional card of all weather racing has appeared on the day as Tuesday’s Wolverhampton meeting delayed overnight until Wednesday afternoon.

There are to be eight races on the flat under lights at Kempton Park on Wednesday, when an early evening meeting will kick off at 4.10pm.

There are only two race meetings on Monday, after Ayr’s course abandoned earlier during the weekend with waterlogged ground which could never recover in time following last weeks wet weather.
We are left with meetings at Kempton and Ludlow, both over the jumps.
