REGAL ENCORE (IRE) which is trained by Anthony Honeyball and owned by JP McManus, will not run in the 2018 Aintree Grand National after the horse produced an abnormal blood sample.
There will be no replacement for this runner, as the withdrawal took place after Friday’s cutoff, meaning that VINTAGE CLOUDS will also miss out on Saturday’s race.
There will be 38 runners in the Grand National, as WALK IN THE MILL was also withdrawn after the cut-off.
