Minella Rocco Withdrawn from 2018 Grand National

MINELLA ROCCO (IRE) has been withdrawn from the 2018 Aintree Grand National, meaning the first reserve, THUNDER AND ROSES (IRE) will run.

Minella Rocco which is trained by Jonjo O’Neill had been due to carry top weight for Saturday’s showpiece.

The weights for the race will rise for the field by 1lb, and Tunder and Roses, which was Reserve 1, will wear the vacated number 1 saddlecloth (although will not be top weight!).
