Beeves withdrawn from 2018 Aintree Grand National

Another horse has been withdrawn from the 2018 Aintree Grand National on Friday, as the going on the course gained the word Heavy (Soft in Places) as BEEVES (IRE) was withdrawn by trainer Jennie Candlish.

Beeves will be replaced by WALK IN THE MILL (FR) who had been Reserve 3 for the race. Walk in the Mill will wear the cloth number 24 which is vacated by Beeves.

Both these horses were tipped by us for the race based on our ratings, so will be a straight swap in our Grand National 2018 Tips.

Beeves is the third horse to be withdrawn on Friday after the very soft ground saw the top weight Minellla Rocco and also Vicente withdrawn earlier in the day.
