Jockey: Donnacha O'Brien
Donnacha O’Brien is a retired Irish horse racing jockey who comes from a prominent racing family. Born in 1998, he is the son of trainer Aidan O’Brien and the younger brother of multiple Group 1-winning jockey Joseph O’Brien. Donnacha enjoyed a successful career in the saddle, regularly riding for his father’s powerful Ballydoyle stable and achieving notable victories on the international racing scene. In 2016, he secured his first classic win aboard Intricately in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh Racecourse. His career reached new heights in 2019 when he clinched both the English 2000 Guineas and the Irish 2000 Guineas on board the exceptional colt Magna Grecia. Despite his relatively short tenure as a professional jockey, Donnacha O’Brien’s talent and accomplishments have left an indelible mark on the world of horse racing.
